The Centre for Crime and Justice Studies (CCJS) is a non-campaigning membership organisation which seeks to bring together criminal justice practitioners, sentencers, policy makers and academics through a programme of conferences, courses, seminars, lectures, study visits and publications. The Centre's website provides information on events, research, membership and publications (including the ISTD owned British Journal of Criminology and Criminal Justice Matters, their in-house magazine). The site also contains an extensive links guide to criminal justice resources around the world.

Founded in 1931, CCJS is the only UK voluntary sector organisation that exists to promote the exchange of experience and understanding of all aspects of the criminal justice process. Formerly known as the Institute for the Study and Treatment of Delinquency, the Centre is attached to the School of Law at King´s College London. It is an independent public interest charity whose mission is to inspire enduring change by promoting understanding of social harm, the centrality of social justice and the limits of criminal justice.
