Summary of evaluation
As part of WIPN's comprehensive evaluation of their work undertaken by Sheffield Hallam University, a separate evaluation of their Special Projects programmes was completed, focusing on the impact of the programme delivery on participants and stakeholders, specifically focusing on the challenges and benefits of the indoividual projects, their developents and recommendations for sustainable and effective delivery.

WIPN Special Projects programme:
- NUJ Pathways into Journalism - an industry standard accredited education course - case study: HMP Wormwood Srubs
- Stories Connect - a structured reading programme which utiliises literature to address issues relating to offending behaviour - case study:HMP Full Sutton
- The Melting Pot - a 3-year creative writing and mentoring programme wprking with prisoners at the Dangerous and Severe Personaiity Disorder (DSPD) unit at HMP Frankland.
