Third Sector Research Centre (TSRC)
The Third Sector Research Centre (TSRC) aims to enhance our knowledge of the sector through independent and critical research; to better understand the value of the sector and how this can be maximised. They work closely with practitioners and policy makers to gain input into their research and explore its findings.
TSRC research is divided into research streams focused on different areas of the sector - all research papers are published on their website, along with summaries and short ‘briefing papers’. The Centre is a collaborative venture by the Universities of Birmingham and Southampton, with contributions from Middlesex and Kent. It is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council, Office of the Third Sector and Barrow Cadbury Trust.
