Evaluation of Geese Theatre's Reconnect Programme: Addressing Resettlement Issues in Prison

This article in the International Journal of Offender Therapy showed that the participants’ level of self-efficacy and motivation to change improved significantly. They also felt significantly more confident in their social and friendship skills, occupational skills, family and intimacy skills, dealing with authority, alternatives to aggression or offending, and self-management and self-control skills. They were found to become more engaged in the program over the 3 days. Improved behavior and engagement within the program was observed over the 3 days of the program.
