Risk and Protective Factors Associated with the Resettlement of Imprisoned Fathers & their Families
Friedrich Lösel, Risk and Protective Factors Associated with the Resettlement of Imprisoned Fathers & their Families (January 2012)
This document constitutes the final report on the research project, ‘Risk and protective factors in the resettlement of imprisoned fathers with their families’ - it provides new and differentiated insights into the impact of imprisonment and the complexities of the resettlement process for the prisoners and their families.
The project was carried out in a collaboration between Ormiston Children and Families Trust and the Institute of Criminology at the University of Cambridge - the project is the first prospective longitudinal study in the United Kingdom and Europe that has addressed directly the views of family sets of prisoners, their (ex)partners and, where appropriate, their children.
